Here comes the new photosession named "Cadeaux" by Sharif Hamza, for Vogue Paris magazine. 3 girls (2 of them are just 6 years old, 3rd one is 10) are modeling as grown ups - make up, glamurous gowns and accessories.
I have very mixed feelings when I watch it. It reminded me of a case from my childhood. When I was a child, we've been staying in our countryside house with my aunt and cousins. Once, I've been playing with my cousins, and asked my aunt to put make up on our faces. We wanted to look beautiful, well every girl wants to .. she did so. I was feeling soooo good! then my father came in, and he was furious, he asked us to clean our faces, and I was upset.
But now I understand him.. I watch theses pictures, and I don't feel comfortable. They are kids that are being used by adults for making money. Though , they are extremely beautiful, I must confess. Well, again, I also understand the parents who want them to be successful models, but I don't think that this is the best way to make your kid successful..

My favourite Hollywood actor, Leonardo Dicaprio has played a part in the TVC of Chinese smartphones OPPO. The TVC costed 5 mln USD, this is how much Dicaprio was paid for playing in five 30 second spots.
The storyboard of the commercial was done in a style of Dicaprio's "Inception" movie. The TVC is directed by Jeremy Haccoun.
I personally liked it a lot. The message is clear, all features of smartphone are demonstrated, it is intriguing and cool.
Haha, this is the Hyundai Velostar TV commercial , which was not approved by Hyundai management.
Hyundai Velostar is a car which has one door on the left and 2 doors on the right side. Creative team decided to promote this feature and emphasize security. However, Hyundai management didn't like the TVC saying that it is "too shocking". To be honest, if I were Hyundai's Marketing Director I wouldn't approve it either for the following reasons:
1. It doesn't say much about the "product"- Hyundai Velostar car
2. Even if you watch it 3-4 times, you won't understand that there is no door on the left, and it is about the doors..basically, it is not clear what they are trying to say
Though, it is funny.

Recently, I’ve discovered for myself thedieline.com website, which is aimed at promoting the world’s best packaging designs, and providing a place where the package design community can review, critique and stay informed of the latest industry trends and design projects being created in the field.
In 2009 The Dieline launched the first annual The Dieline Awards, a worldwide package design competition devoted exclusively to the art of brand packaging.
Winners of the 2011 competition are below. 12 designs were awarded the highest ranking (below you can see some of them, the most creative ones)
Best on Show
PUMA, "Clever Little Bag", agency: Fuseproject (the idea was to decrease cost of materials and delivery)
Steve's Leaves, agency Big Fish Design Limited (brand producing greens)
Summerbag and bottle for Coca cola, Turner Duckworth
Kleenex naplkins, agency Kimberly Clark
Heineken bottle packaging, which is sensitive to ultraviolet. agency dBOD

Just few days ago I started my blog with the speech of Steve Jobs at Stanford University and today, as a 2nd post I am sharing Steve Job's resignment letter. Honestly, I am upset, because he is a person of huge vision, and I hope that Apple will not lose its innovative spirit after his resignment.
Letter from Steve Jobs:
To the Apple BOD and Apple Community.
I've always said, if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, Director and Apple employee.
As far as my successor goes, I strongly reccomend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
I believe Apple's brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.
I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

I know that it is already a kind of a pop culture in the Western world, and everybody knows it, but I couldn’t refrain from sharing it once again with you.. the Commencement address delivered by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, on June 12, 2005.
I was so much impressed when I read this speech for the first time.. to me this guy is just brilliant! He is the one destroying all the stereotypes, and proving that one can do everything if he really wants to.
I don’t think that something should be added so, I let you watch the video
